Daily Mile Artificial Grass Track – Lostock Gralam Primary School

The latest daily mile installation recently took place at Lostock Gralam Primary School in Northwich. Children now have access to a resource that can be used all year round, ensuring their 30 minutes of exercise they need at school in respect to Sport Premium funding can be achieved, whatever the weather!

The school contacted AGP Play in January after the dreadful winter we experienced stopping children from getting adequate exercise needed. Within a week the school was visited and a surveyor had provided a quote.

And although 2016 may be low in relation to 2014, 2015 and 2016 – it is worth noting that despite us being in the middle of summer, the UK has already experienced nearly 500mm of rainfall. With September – December averaging at over 500mm of rainfall, it is expected we will hit the 1000mm mark again, ensuring our winter months will be a battle for children to exercise if they don’t have adequate outdoor equipment.
