AGP Tracks for Secondary and High Schools
AGP Play has been supporting and working alongside secondary and high schools across the UK installing paths and tracks suitable for ”The Daily Mile” initiative.
For example at Whalley Range and Levenshulme high school in Manchester where AGP installed a 400m long yellow track, and a 260m long red track.
Thousands of schools world wide have committed to The Daily Mile. The Daily Mile encourages nursery and primary school pupils to jog or run, at their own pace, for 15 minutes every day during school. The aim of the initiative is to improve the physical, social, emotional and mental health and wellbeing of our children – regardless of age, ability or personal circumstances.
AGP have designed and built tracks for over 250 schools across the UK over the last 18 months. We offer a bespoke design service that optimises the space and land available at each school that we visit and survey. Our tracks range in length and width from 100 metres long and 1.3 metres wide, where the children go around 16 times to get their Mile, to 500 metre long x 2 metre wide tracks.
Our tracks are built using a range of surfacing materials that include artificial grass, wet pour and rubber mulch. They come in a range of colours that include blue, red, black, green, purple and yellow or many are surfaced using a combination of colours!
