A completely eye catching transformation for Britannia Bridge school!
Britannia Bridge Primary School located in Wigan is a ‘true community school’ and AGP Play were asked to design and install a fantastic, brightly coloured Daily Mile Track using Multiplay – an all weather and extremely child friendly surface, ideal for heavy traffic play.
The bright colours of this Multiplay surface have completely transformed not only the look of this area but also they way in which it is used. With having not only one colour but three included on this Daily Mile Track, it’s now possible for 3 pupils to easily run alongside each other simultaneously!
The school has had a blue, yellow and back Multiplay Track installed and the pupils of Britannia Bridge Primary School are very excited to be able to complete their Daily Mile. Just look at incredible difference in our fantastic before and after photos below!
Multiplay surface offers an extremely durable and robust surface that can be used wearing both normal school shoes and trainers. Offering a safe yet slightly slower paced surface, it is ideal for teaching a wide range of sports at a recreational level whilst maintaining a perfect balance of traction and shock – absorbency, perfect for school children.
What is the Daily Mile?
The Daily Mile is a completely free and fun way to aim to get children out of the classroom and into the fresh air where they can run or jog, at their own pace, for fifteen minutes every day. This makes the children fitter, healthier and more able to concentrate clearly in the classroom.
The Daily Mile is easy to implement and very fun to do. Read below founder Elaine’s top 10 essentials for successfully implementing the Daily Mile in any school setting –
AGP Play have provided hundreds of schools across the UK with Daily Mile Tracks much loved by both teachers and students alike. If you haven’t already then be sure to check out just how our Daily Mile tracks are installed.
