North Star Nursery’s Summer Make-Over!

North Star Nursery’s outdoor Wet Pour area in Swindon is now ready for use. The project took the AGP installation team just 10 days to complete and the client is said to be delighted – it’s not hard to see why!
North Star Nursey’s new play area was completed at the end of June after the AGP team undertook a vigorous 10 day installation schedule. The surface installed will now reduce the risk of injury, allowing more freedom of play for the children at the nursery. With its vibrant colours, it is also guaranteed to enhance the fun environment created by the nursery.

The nursery first got in touch on May 2nd, requesting a site survey for their play area which they believed required some updating. Within 24 hours, the site survey had been scheduled and on May 13th, one of our expert surveyors visited the site to measure the area and provide some design ideas for the development. Satisfied with the knowledge and quote provided, the nursery made the decision to proceed with AGP Play in just over 3 weeks.
The nursery spoke highly of our installations team Kevin, George & Dylan who have recently helped The Orr’s finish a 644sqm MUGA at Ackworth School in Wakefield.

This project was one of hundreds of schools that have chosen to update their outdoor area in 2019. If you are considering updating your outdoor area, please don’t hesitate to get in touch by filling out the survey below.

Kilsby Primary School

Our team completely transformed Kilsby Primary school’s playground by installing a multicoloured 9 lane sprint track, a 450m² MUGA with 2m high fencing, a red Daily Mile track and a 70m2 Rubber Mulch trim trail and path. Kilsby’s new installation was completed just in time for their sports day.

(source: Kilsby Primary School) ” Parents and grandparents were invited to come along and join the children for a picnic lunch on the field followed by an afternoon packed with sporting activities including sprint and long distances races, relay, bean bag, egg and spoon, three legged race and of course the usual Mum and Dad races too!

Before the afternoon began, the children had a special visit from a Katie Summerhayes GB Olympian Silver Medalist for Snowsport Freestyle Skiing, who spoke with the children about what it’s like being an Olympian and the dedication, discipline and commitment required to become an Olympian. She end up staying for the whole afternoon.

The children were split into their House groups for the sports. The points were all totalled up at the end of the afternoon and Stephenson House won overall! Our Sports Person of the Year Cup went to Grace and Joseph won the Award for Sports Teamwork. Congratulation to them both and to everyone for taking part and their great sportsmanship. We hope all the parents and grandparents enjoyed the afternoon as much as we did! ”

Scole Primary Schools Brand New Daily Mile Track With Encouraging Line Markings!

The students of Scole Primary School enjoy a bright Blue and White Daily Mile Track and can now self motivate, thanks to our new Line Markings.

The school opted to have their track installed using our Multiplay surface which is perfect for this type pf track. Not only having their track installed using our bright Blue colour, Scole Primary also wanted us to add in line markings to the track.

Installing line markings on your Daily Mile track encourages students to keep pushing forward and helps them to focus and strive for more, both mentally and physically. Markings also encourage those students who may fear running or feel it perhaps isn’t their strong point. It gives them much more confidence and creates a fun and engaging way to exercise.

Durable, all weather Multisport MUGA installed and looking fantastic at Woodmansterne Primary School, Surrey.

Brand new installation of a MUGA at Woodmansterne Primary School

AGP Play have just installed a 36m x 20m MUGA and a 2m high green sports mesh fence surrounding the MUGA at Woodmansterne Primary School!

Having been asked to also include a single leaf green gate which opens out of the ball court and a further installation of 4x basketball post and hoops, this MUGA has completely transformed the way in which the children at Woodmansterne will play outdoors.

Woodmansterne Primary School asked us to excavate and relocate the existing turf prior to installing the MUGA and although our Multisport MUGA is available in 4 colours including green, blue, yellow and red, Woodmansterne School opted for our popular vivid green. Our Multisport is ideal for MUGA installations and is an extremely durable synthetic surface meaning the children can have fun playing on the MUGA in all weather. Due to the synthetic surface of our Multisport, our MUGA’s offer an increased speed of play and smoother ball roll whilst maintaining a perfect balance of ball bounce, traction and shock absorbency.
