AGP Surfaces

The installation team at AGP were great working in freezing conditions and fitting in around our school day. The difference the grass has made to our playground is amazing, in a totally hard-surface urban playground there is now an oasis of greenery. The impact on the children was seen the first morning after installation when a group of boys came rushing into the playground at 8.30am so that they could play on the pitch before school!

We have been to a couple of companies with regards to having grass laid to our school and nursery play areas. AGP Play were professional and helpful when measuring the areas and discussing the needs. When the work started AGP worked hard to ensure that they did not disrupt the day to day running of the school or nursery and completed the job to satisfaction within a week. The children love our new play areas.

Thanks to AGP Play, my Reception children are free to enjoy all-weather play and exploration as part of their curriculum. This has had huge impact on the children’s ability to access the outdoors and in turn, has significantly impacted on their development. It also looks fantastic! Gone are the muddy, ‘worn’ patches of grass that we so often see in EYFS playgrounds. Instead, we have bright green landscaping that, from the front aspect of the school, looks amazing.

We are so pleased with our new dual-use play area, produced by AGP Play. Mark was extremely helpful in explaining the different surface and fencing options and in drafting a plan from our very vague ideas. The students are delighted with the result and it is in constant use at every break time.

We are absolutely delighted with our new ‘Daily Mile’ track. The children are really excited to be using it and it will help in our drive to develop the physical well-being of our current pupils and pupils of the future. The installation team were incredibly professional and hard-working, considering the health and safety of the pupils at all times. Many thanks to AGP!

This is the third year we have embraced the Daily Mile initiative. It has resulted in an amazing increase in the fitness of our children and their enthusiasm for PE. previously it was difficult to keep up our running once our field became muddy. Remade a circuit in the playground but this was restricting. Now we can run all year round’
